I have added new resources and templates you may find useful for planning to our blog. They include unit plan templates, lesson plan templates and planning for assessment. Have a look at the Understanding by Design resources and templates on our blog – backwards planning has long been considered a highly valuable way to plan for optimal student learning. I’m also working on a few new templates including one that addresses technology integration. Stay tuned!
If you are interested in a drop in seminar for planning, please let me know and I’ll schedule one. We will begin some one on one and small group planning meetings in February but you are always welcome to check in with me about planning, resources, etc.
Remember to start keeping track of the themes and units you will be planning for practicum – use the forms provided on our practicum pages for this as you will be required to submit these forms to me. See the 10-Week-Planning-Guide for more info and some tips/timelines suggestions.
