 LLED 353

Teaching and Learning EAL is an amazing course, which helps scaffold your teaching towards English Language Learners in your classrooms. This course introduces a number of perspectives relating to how various children learn a language. The idea of self regulated learning, and how students learn at different rates, is spoken of consistently. The course touches upon the idea of multiple literacies, where speaking, writing, and reading are amongst the various teaching forms we touch upon, including linguistic and cultural diversities. Every person has a unique diversity, so we must respect everyone’s learning styles and abilities. This course is a great benefit to learning about different students we may face in our classrooms, and how we can make their learning experiences as beneficial and comfortable as possible. Having fun is also a big part of this class!
